Orange-y! Orange-y!

I have the days where I roam my closet and try it out if it will be a good pair. I used to spend hours staring at my pile of clothes wishing I can wear them on my normal days. I badly want to pump up my look everyday but the weather here won't help. Addition to that, I still don't know how to drive so I can't ride jeepneys or bus wearing these things.

A retro inspired outfit with a blast of my bright orange bandage skirt. Adding some round glasses and that chunk of chain necklace which suits the details of the top. Hey, I've scored this top on thriftshop. It is light, flowy, and soft which can be also turn into offshies.

It's too sunny outside. Don't forget your sunnies and hats! I can't drag these look on a party later night. What do you think?

What Ash Wears:
Top & Skirt: All from thrift shops.  Oh please! Got a bunch of hauls from thriftshops.

My hand suddenly talks

"Painting is the silence of thought and the music of sight."

Orhan Pamuk

(My Name is Red)

As I exposed myself with the system of arts, I suddenly fell to its nature.
I'm truly inlove with it that I became one of it.

It all started during my pre-school days, where we all know that children were exposed to arts and crafts.
I always enjoyed that time where we'll make some art.
Drawings, coloring,
Cutting colored papers,
Sticking glitters to your drawings,
Molding clay,
Using paint brushes and paints.
My heart is always filled with joy everytime I do this.

As I continuously grow up, I got more attached with this field and it became my passion.
I used to enter art contest where I can say that most of the time I win.
Then it became my hobby.

When I got bored, I paint.
When I'm happy, I paint.
When I'm sad, I paint.
I put all my emotions to a simple art.
I express my feelings throught the brush.
I let my mind brush the colors on my mind.
Art became my happy place.
It is my best remedy.

Here are some of my examples:

"THE FAERIE"

MATERIAL: Poster Paint
DESCRIPTION:
I used to love checking make up photos at the internet and decided to paint one image showing a beauty of a fairy-like woman.
I'm so amazed with the creativity of the face turns out adding flower images.

"COLOUR SPILL BEAUTY"

MATERIAL: Poster Paint
DESCRIPTION:
Just like the first paint. This is also one of my photo to art portrait.
I love how the color distributed to her face.

"I WONDER WHY?"

MATERIAL: Pastel
DESCRIPTION:
I can't remember the time where I see this image.
It only reminds me about Leang Lav.
This is the moment where I painted my feeling and sorrow.
I feel burden and lonely at that day.

"CHOI SEUNGHYUN"

MATERIAL: Pastel
DESCRIPTION:
If you're not a Korean Pop fanatic, you won't identify him.
As a Kpop Enthusiast, I've been a fan of a boy group called BIGBANG since they started.
Choi Seunhyun, or mostly called "TOP", is one of my bias for years.
I always draw him and painted him.

I've been living in a world full of creativity. The world itself is a perfect masterpiece.
Learn to live your dreams and passion. Continue what makes you happy.
I will post more of my arts again.

Casual Florals

The weather is getting cold and we are now experiencing storms.
But before the sun sleeps, I need to wear this shorts I bought from an online shop.
I really love the details and print of this short. Perfect for sunny day.

Gone shopping with family today. Since I don't want to be hassle and being uncomfortable with my clothes, I prefer wearing something basic casual. White plain tee is very versatile. It speaks simplicity and can change any aura you want. I don't want to look crowded with prints this plain top fits right for my floral print shorts. I don't want to roam around the mall with inappropriate clothes. Then adding up a little spice of accessories, favorite necklace, and my kitty cat eyes sunnies, everything is on the go! My favorite personalized necklace pair with bracelet named after my blog.

What Ashley Wears:

White v-neck Tee
Floral Shorts
Bag: Tomato
Customized Necklace and Bracelets: Mia Casa
Gold set Bracelets: Thrifted Treasure
Sunnies: SM Accessories

My Wicked Tongue

Summer is nearly seen. I could feel the warm kisses of the air, and the keeps on smiling at me all the way from the sky. The sky turns bluer than it looks. It changes its color to different state of bright hues. And then the day comes the sea whispers. Take and have a look at my beauty; roaring waves attracting me, glowing sparkly sands pulling me. Summer is really here.

My wicked tongue once told me: "Cease the moment." So I did listen! Today I show you my recollection with the nature. Be amaze with the natural creation of nature. I'm in Kapurpurawan Rock Formation in Ilocos Norte. Since we mostly do walking on a rocky road, wearing slippers is quite hard but still can manage. I even take off my knitted cardigan due to the warm temperature at the area. Wearing halter tops is a great idea but remember to put your sunscreens on so you won't damage your skin.

Fall Collection: NAUGHTYcal

I always love anchors and nautical themes. It gives me an imagination on sailing on seas.
Setting sails. Windy day. Curves of the waves. Whispers of the sea.
Crystal water. Pastel sky. Fluffy Clouds.
I want to travel the oceans and see the beauty beneath the sea.

On my two fall outfits, it looks heavy and dull because of the dark colors I pick. To make my collection not too lame, I added a little bright colors.
Isn't white and navy blue looks pleasing and relaxing?

What I Wear:
Anchor Top
Navy Skirt
Gray Coat: ROXY
Ankle Boots: Call It Spring
Gold Chain Necklace: Uno Shoffe

The Anchor print Top was a Christmas gift given by the sister of my ex-boyfriend. Actually its pretty long and the texture is like denim. Since it's an anchor theme, I paired it with my plaid skirt from an online shop I thrifted. It's soft and fits perfectly to me. For cold days, sure you'll be freezing so I thought of putting a coat. A gray coat would be nice, it can match the colors because putting black coat is too mainstream. I love accessories! I spend some of my savings for accessories. Huge rings and choker necklaces are my thing. The necklace is a lightweight material, I got it from a trust worthy seller Uno Shoffe. And lastly, girls always have something for their feet. I wear this black suede ankle boots my auntie gave me.
So what do you think?

Fall Collection: Corpo Chic

What I Wear:
Black Coat: M Collection
Dress: XXI
Lita Boots: thrifted @kuripotqueen

Outfit number 2. Sorry for being MIA again, I've been terribly busy and stressed out in my school projects. Creating and designing floor plans kill me!
Luckily, Christmas break is near but need to rush some unfinished business in school.

On my last post, I showed you the first outfit in the Fall Style Challenge. So now I'm showing a different look.
This look is all about corporate or formal outfit, complimenting one of the Bonobos' Men Suit.
I wear a  tube dress with thick fabric but smooth in skin. It has a long fabric to knot it at the back but I prefer to change it and put a style on knotting. Added a lightweight black coat and black stockings.
To make me look taller since I'm small, I put on my favorite Lita boots I got from a thriftshop.
I also wear my "no lens" glasses. And spice it with my white stone necklace.
So what do you think guys?
