Out and about

I have this time lapse with my blog.
It's been a year or two since I actually post my adventures.
When I decided to check my external hard drive, I see this albums in the year 2016.
Most of it are my perfect adventures.
I will promise to upload more of my hidden adventures way way back through the years.

Let's start my little trip last January 2016!
Yes! Year 2016 where I decided to stop my blog. (Personal reasons*)
With graduation is near, the more I got busier.
At this time, I'm already staying in Manila for my board exam review.
I was out and disconnected with the social world where all I have was my books and lectures.

I barely return home since I have classes on my review center.
Yet at this moment I've got a chance to take a break.

Welcome back to El Kabayo Falls. If you read my blogs, I already posted about this place.
Seeking nature adventure is the great remedy indeed when you're a bit stress with your life.
Once you hear the flow of the water, the sounds of water falling, the gust of the wind, trees dancing, and birds chirping, you'll instantly feel relaxed.

I'm happy to be residing near bay area and also near the nature area.
I can easily pack up and hike mountains to seek some great adventures.
Since this trip we encounter more soil, leaves, trees, and water, it is best to suggest wear something light. I'm sure there'll be more walking and hiking part.
Wear comfortable clothes also.

I want you all to meet my younger sister, Alyssa. She's adorable and love her to bits.
We both love adventures and nature trips.

Can't wait to upload more of my pending adventures.
Hope this year I can manage to write again.

Seek more adventure!

Walking through the Capitol

Have you enjoy the sight in Calle Crisologo?  As we all know that Vigan is one of the World Heritage Site, a town left that still remains intact and preserves history. The structures in Vigan serves you history, so even the fastfoods and other buildings look like the old structures way back in Spanish era. After the finish line of Mestizo street, Capitol of Vigan welcomes you! This will lead you to the heart of Ilocos Sur where the Plaza Salcedo and St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral are located.

Just in case you're lost and don't know where to go, a huge map will help you. Informations about hotels, restaurants, stations are printed out on that map.

It's been a long time since we played in playgrounds. Hahaha! They really feel like a kid again.

Awesome design of their Mcdonalds beside the St. Paul's Cathedral.

ST. PAUL METROPOLITAN CATHEDRAL

The first cathedral in Vigan built in 1574 by Juan de Salcedo. Designed in a baroque-style church with its bell tower stands separately in Plaza Burgos.

The park located in front of the cathedral is named Plaza Salcedo. It was named in honor to the Spanish conqueror who discover Vigan and erected a monument for him. They add some entertainment in this Plaza way back 4 years ago I think. Every night they have a dancing fountain show which enjoyed by the tourists and citizens.

After the walk in Plaza Salcedo we head back to the hotel (Hotel Linda Suites) to take a rest. Sorry to inform you guys that I didn't watch the fountain. But I do have an article about that last 2-3 years ago.

I meet my friend Sayie in Vigan! Finally I see him personally.

We call it a night! Goodbye Vigan, we'll be heading tomorrow morning in the northern part of Ilocos and visit some rock formations.

TRAVELOGUE: Once again with El Kabayo Falls

(Oh-la-la! Ola my sexy sister!)

I admit that I got tons of draft post and forgot to publish it last year. I've been in an awesome adventure last 2014 with family and friends. And this post was the continuation or part 2 of my El Kabayo Falls.

ONCE AGAIN, I'm back in this hidden falls of El Kabayo. I've already posted about this falls and since my cousins visited us, we were triggered to take a dip in this place again.

On this adventure, I succeeded on jumping on that high cliff as you can see on the photo. YES! I jump that cliff. It takes 15-30 minutes for me to pray, doubting if I will really going to jump. And ended up jumping once and never tried again. The reason why I'm scared on jumping that cliff is that there's a boulder at the side of the falls. We need to jump far so we won't hit and kill ourselves.

Sitting on that edge of the water is fantastic. A little bit slippery, but refreshing since the water is cool. Thanks to my ADIDAS dryfit I can swim comfortably. Last time, I only wear shorts and corset type but this time I decided to wear something to cover me up.

I do enjoy nature and adventures. Hope on my next adventure I'll try surfing! I really want to surf and do some water sports. See you again !
