DAY 3
Yes! This is the best part of my travel in Ilocos!
We're going to spend the whole day at the beach.
This is quite a catch when you drive the way to Loaog City.
Cool right? It looks like the sign of HOLLYWOOD.
6th Stop: BANGUI WINDMILLS
Before heading to the resorts, we stopped by these enormous windmills.
You could see it easily by the road and its pretty cool.
The road to the windmills is quite tricky 'cause of the road.
I don't know if they fix it already.
Bangui Windmills are considered as Southeast Asia's biggest wind turbines.
It consists of 20 huge turbines arranged in a single row following the nine kilometer shoreline of Bangui Bay, facing the South China Sea.
Each turbine is 70 meter (230 ft) with 41 meter long blades.
These turbines/ windmills also serves an important role to the residents of Ilocos.
It is said that 40% of the generated electricity was used by the people and being sold.
There are stalls near the windmills where you can buy souvenirs. They have different souvenirs you can choose, from shirts to accessories. We even bought a miniature windmill!
As you can see these are small pebbles. When you step in the shoreline, you'll step on pebbles instead of sand which is quite unique.
Lovey dovey couple <3 So good to see them inlove. I love my parents!
Yes! Selfie shots with the windmills. It is really windy there seriously! You can totally feel the air.
And those enormous windmills is awesome!
Humans are so smart creating these things.
What a captivating view isn't it?
So great to visit here.
